On 27 January 2018, about 30 Procurement Leaders in the Hospitality Sector spent their Saturday to attend a one-day intensive training session conducted by SIPMM. The participants gained an insight about 4G Integrated Logistics Management, and how procurement functions could be integrated in the logistics function for an effective and efficient supply chain management. Judging from the mostly excellent feedback, participants found that their weekend sacrifice has been worthwhile. Apart from the knowledge of industry techniques and practices, participants are now more confident of facing the disruptive technologies affecting their sector. Towards the end of the session, there was active participation during the panel discussion.
